Boeing 737-800 aircraft acquired by APAS for aftermarket material support

APAS Acquires Boeing 737-800 Airframe to Expand B737NG Aftermarket Material Availability

APAS acquires a Boeing 737-800 airframe to expand B737NG aftermarket material availability, support operators, and reduce turnaround times for critical maintenance.

A Professional Aviation Services Corp. (APAS), a commercial aviation repair and aftermarket solutions company, today announced the acquisition of a Boeing 737-800, MSN 30654 airframe.

APAS will manage the disassembly of the aircraft, with material availability expected to begin in June 2026. This acquisition represents a significant step in APAS’ strategy to expand aftermarket material availability for the B737NG fleet.

“As our first aircraft acquisition, this milestone expands APAS’ platform and strengthens our ability to support airline and trading partners,” said David Dicken, EVP of Sales and Business Development at APAS. “These assets will be transformed through the repair capabilities of APAS and Diversified Aero Services (DAS) into high-demand, ready-to-go material that helps operators worldwide access cost-effective and timely aftermarket solutions.”

The B737NG family remains one of the most widely used platforms in commercial aviation, sustaining strong demand for quality, serviceable material.

Once disassembled, the aircraft will help increase the supply of B737NG components available to the aftermarket, supporting faster access to critical material for operators and maintenance partners.

This milestone reinforces APAS’ commitment to delivering reliable material solutions, repair expertise and responsive aftermarket support across the commercial aviation sector.
